AccésD

Starring: Freedom of Choice
Do you deal with more than one caisse?
As of today, there's no need to go to the counter.
Using one or another of your Desjardins
Multiservices cards, now you can handle your
everyday transactions via the self-service
mode at the automated teller machine and by
Internet-Acc?sD1 for all accessible
accounts at all your caisses. It's simple, practical, less
expensive and secure. In short, multicaisse
members have multiple advantages!
Check Your Screens
The new ATMs and your personal computer
will automatically display the names of the caisses
you deal with as well as all your personal
or joint folios and accounts 2. With any one of your
cards, you will be able to perform
transactions such as transfers and payments on a line of
credit between folios of different
caisses. All of your Desjardins Multiservices cards will still be
useful because only the card that grants
access to the folio you wish to use will enable you to
make quick withdrawals at the ATM as
well as transactions by direct payment or Interac (at
ATMs that do not belong to Desjardins).
Create Your Own Scenario
Although you are automatically provided
with the big picture of all your folios held at all your
caisses, you have the choice to retain
only those which you deal with most often. How? It's
simple. In the "Update User File" section
in Internet Acc?sD, you can change what is displayed
on your computer and ATM screens. You
can also make changes by contacting the
appropriate caisse.
Paying Bills: Laughing All the Way
It's never much fun to pay your bills,
but it's a lot simpler when you don't have to use the
envelope method at an automated teller.
The particulars of each bill listed in your "Bill payment
file" are now accessible on the automated
teller screen, no matter what Desjardins
Multiservices card is used. You can
register up to 99 bills3, change the order in which they
are displayed, and even identify them
by a description (eg.: Bell-home and Bell-chalet). It's that
simple: just present the scenario you
like best to one of your caisses.
1.Acc?sD service by phone
will offer the same options at 1 800 CAISSES by early 1999.
2.The card associated with
a joint folio does not provide access to the personal folios of a joint
holder.
A card associated with a child-parent folio or one associated with a proxy
folio only
provides
access to that specific folio.
3.To obtain a list of eligible
organizations, ask at your caisse or visit our website at
www.desjardins.com.
